Palos Verdes is a suburb in Los Angeles known for its spectacular ocean views and beautiful beaches. It has great trails that are perfect for a little exploration during engagement sessions. We were trying to decide the location for Holly and Ryan’s Engagement session until they mentioned Palos Verdes. We immediately said yes, although we never shot at this location before. This engagement session was quite special because our couple flew all the way from Chicago for a visit as they are getting married in California.
Unlike Orange County beaches that are usually packed on the weekend, Palos Verdes bluff was rather tranquil and peaceful. There were some folks hanging out by the cliffside, and some surfers hiking down to the beach, but there were no crowds. It was such a perfect afternoon. We brought our picnic blanket which came in handy on every shoot. We spent some time shooting along the trail and hiked down the cliff to get to the rocks for sunset pics. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos came out. Our couple was thrilled with the result too. Thank you Holly and Ryan for the adventure, can’t wait for your big day soon!
